Born in Brazil and raised in New Zealand, Kate has a lifelong interest in science, health and movement.​

Kate is a certified Applied Kinesiology practitioner, using muscle testing to assess how the body responds to physical, chemical, emotional, and neurological stressors.

Applied Kinesiology allows Kate to identify imbalances in the body and tailor chiropractic care to the individual, supporting optimal function, improved movement, and overall wellbeing. This approach is especially valuable for people seeking a holistic, integrative style of chiropractic care.

Alongside Applied Kinesiology, Kate practises Sacro Occipital Technique (SOT) and draws from a wide range of chiropractic and manual therapy techniques. She has a strong passion for science and evidence-informed care, and believes the best outcomes come from thoughtfully merging scientific understanding with a holistic view of the body. Every treatment plan is customised, ensuring care is specific, targeted, and responsive to each client's unique needs.

Outside the clinic, Kate enjoys yoga, pilates, crafting and spending time outdoors with her family.

I am the founder and principle chiropractor at Fountain of Health. I am currently on Extended Leave from practice in until June 2026. It is my hope to bring back more knowledge and skills in the area of healing and different modalities in pain management and prevention.

I hail originally from China and grew up in NZ. My cultural background inspired me to formulate and refine a processes of health and wellness optimisation through the integration of Chiropractic care along side eastern healing modalities. Thus combining the best of both worlds.

My goal is for Fountain of Health to become a source for health and wellness in the heart of Meadowbank.​

I live with my husband, 8 year old son, 3 year old daughter and a German Spitz dog named Toffee. Who has self-assigned to be the mascot of the practice :)

Hello I'm Toffee, I am a 9 year old German Spitz. Aka self-appointed mascot of Fountain of Health. You might see me greet you through the main house glass door, I am normally not allowed in the clinic, unless you make a request for a pat, which I will be very excited to oblige :)
